Earlier in the week, it was reported that the former president had health problems that warranted medical attention. Amid the speculation and rumors, Tribune has released an authoritative report to allay worries: Shehu Shagari is not dead. Nuhu Koko, personal assistant to Shagari and head of the Shehu Shagari Foundation said, quite simply: "Shagari is alive."
